Calendar Synchronisation

18. Here is something very strange and odd... I had an annual calendar appointment pop up on my iPhone this morning warning about an upcoming event.  As I no longer participated in this event, I deleted the calendar item and select "All future events".  I have come to work today and synchronised my phone with my laptop only to find that iTunes has re-added the recurring event back into my iPhone... HELLO!!!! I deleted because I no longer wanted it... Why re-add it... So I thought, ok another iPhone inefficiency that they've overlooked, I'll delete it from my calendar in Outlook and you wouldn't believe it, it was not there...

SO, iTunes has obviously check my iPhone, noted that the event was deleted, checked my Outlook, noted that the event was present, added the event to my iPhone and then deleted it from my Outlook?????? Say What?????

Even I'm confused... but even more confusing is how much more difficult it would have surely been to program it that way...

Apple iPhone version 3.0 announced

Apple have finally listened to some of the griping and feedback that has been plaguing its flagship product* and are planning on releasing an update to their software to cater for some of the problems that many have had using their iPhone . Version 3.0 is all the talk amongst the iPhone community now, as Apple  releases a sneak peak at some of the new features that will be available for  iPhone owners. When iPhone OS 3.0 arrives this summer, it will introduce over 100 new features, including the ability to: Search your iPhone Cut, copy, and paste Send photos, contacts, audio files, and location via MMS Read and compose email and text messages in landscape While this only really addresses a small portion of the problems and gripes that many have had with the Apple iPhone , it shows that they are listening and intent on improving the iPhone to make it the leader not only in aesthetics but also in functionality. Apple iPhone shortfalls in 2019

Following on from my initial post about the many things I dislike about the iPhone, here we are roughly 10 years later, and while most of the originals issues I had with iPhone have been resolved in some way, there is a whole set of new problems which make the Apple iPhone a piece of garbage. 1. Apple iPhone's inability to differentiate between network connectivity issues and incorrect information.  This issue is prevalent when trying to access iCloud or iTunes however, I recently experienced it when trying to validate my credit card. The problem is such that, you attempt to login by entering your password (or validate CC by entering the CCV) - After a brief moment, the iPhone returns an error saying " not found or incorrect " (see below for an example of this message) The real problem with this is that the password is in fact CORRECT - But Apple's technicians were too incompetent to differentiate between an actual wrong password OR a problem with the phone
